Cultivating calm seas
from the inside out.

Yoga is for every body. Come as you are, move with intention, and build a practice that trusts the person you are today.

The practice

Calm seas does not mean a life without storms. It means having an anchor when they come.

Your teacher

Philip R. Rosi II, CYT-200

Yoga has been a steady presence in my life for more than 20 years. I completed my 200-hour teacher training in 2026, and I teach here in the Traverse City area, where my family has lived for generations.

I am a Traverse City native and a retired U.S. Navy Captain. My teaching centers on honoring ourselves wherever we are on the journey.

My yoga teaching philosophy

“If we do not trust who we are in the present, we will forever create a practice for someone who does not exist!”

Donna Farah

I am not really focused on becoming a different person through yoga. Rather, I am trying to be more aware of the version of myself who is already here, loving and trusting that person, and shaping my yoga practice accordingly.

Come and join me!

An opportunity to move intentionally, reconnect with yourself, and cultivate a little more calm along the way.
